BEČEJ

Located on the right bank of the tranquil Tisa River, in the heart of Vojvodina, the municipality of Bečej spans 48,000 hectares of fertile plains. It is home to the charming, welcoming, and hospitable town of the same name.

Today, Bečej is known as a multicultural town and serves as an economic, social, and cultural hub for Serbs, Hungarians, and other ethnic communities in this part of Vojvodina.

The municipality of Bečej has a population of just over 30,000 residents, living in six settlements: Bečej, Bačko Gradište, Bačko Petrovo Selo, Radičević, Mileševo-Drljan, and Poljanica.
